What is love? Our culture offers many answers, but the Christmas story gives us the truest one. In this Advent sermon, we turn to Luke 2:8–20 and the story of the shepherds to see how God defines love through the birth of Jesus Christ. God’s love makes the first move, reaches the humble and overlooked, and invites all people into His redemptive story.
